Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple
The most important place to visit in Shirdi is the Sai Baba temple. Dedicated to the saint Sai Baba, this temple receives on an average of 30 thousand devotees everyday. In this temple, you can hear prayer songs and seek blessings of the Lord from 4 AM to 11 PM everyday.
Gurusthan
It is the area where Sai Baba had first appeared as a young boy of 16 years. It is said that Sai Baba used to sit under a Neem tree here. This shrine has a portrait of Sai Baba with Shivlinga and a Nandi bull in front. There are also photos of 12 jyotirlingas here.
Shani Shingnapur
A highly revered shrine near Shirdi, this temple of Lord Shani is a must visit. This temple is located around 70 km from Shirdi in the Nevasa Taluka of Ahmednagar district. This temple is without any roof or walls. Here you will find Lord’s Statue as a black stone of 5.5 feet, placed under an open sky. Mustard oil from a copper vessel falls continuously on the idol.
Lendi Baugh
A lush green garden, this place also holds religious significance. It was the place where Sai Baba used to come and sit under a neem tree. It is also believed that he used to water the plants everyday. This garden also houses the samadhis of Sai Baba devotees like Abdul Baba, Bhau Maharaj Kumbhar, Nanavalli and Tatya Kote Patil.
Dwarkamai
An important shrine for Sai Baba devotees, Dwarkamai was initially a mosque, which was in poor condition. It was eventually used by Sai Baba for interacting with people from all walks of life, solving their issues and healing them. An oil painting of the Sai baba, kept on the first floor of this two floored building is a major attraction.
