Places to visit in Pawna Lake
Prati- Pandharpur
Located around 7.5 km away from the Pawna Lake, it is one of the famous pilgrimage sites. Built as a replica of the Pandharpur, this temple was built by Baba Maharaj Satarkar, a renowned speaker of Dnyaneshwari. It is dedicated to Lord Vittala, a form of Lord vishnu.
Tikona Fort
A perfect location for history buffs and adventure seekers, Tikona Fort is about 4.5 km from Pawna Lake. This majestic fort stands at a height of 3633 feet above sea level. Also known as Vitandgad, this fort is located on top of the Tikona Peak. Bedse caves
Another must visit location near Pawna Lake is the Bedse Caves. Situated around 10 km away, these rock-cut caves date back to Satavahana period in 1st century BCE.
